Shiriki Plan For Business

The Safaricom Shiriki Plan for Business is a post pay subscription service that enables SME business owners and their employees to share communication resources depending on their changing requirements for calling, browsing and SMS. Business owners can choose from 3 subscription packages below:

The offer is open to business owners of small office/home office, micro and small businesses who can provide the below KYC documentation:

  1. Certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration Certificate or a Business Permit

  2.  PIN Certificate or VAT Registration Certificate

  3. Business Registration Number

  4. Contact person Identification, National ID card or Valid Passport

Subscription to the Safaricom Shiriki Plan for Business gives the business owner or subscriber access to a central ‘wallet’ with communication resources from which they can share with their employees depending on their changing calling, browsing and SMS requirements. The business owner or subscriber selects the beneficiaries and their consumption limits to this central wallet/business account.

  1. Through a Safaricom sales agent, who will receive your KYC documents and guide you to fill in the application form.

  2. On successful processing of your application you will receive an SMS notification on the successful registration to the Safaricom Shiriki Plan for Business.

The service is a post pay service recurring every 1st of the month and as such you will receive a monthly invoice showing amount to pay. Payment of monthly bills will be done to M-PESA Pay bill number 200200. The account name will be the business owner’s mobile number.

No. This service is a post-pay service and is renewable once per month. Resources do not roll over but expire after 30 days. New resources are provided/auto-renewed at the beginning of every calendar month.

No. This is a post-pay service that does not allow you to sambaza airtime. The plan only allows you to share resources with your selected beneficiaries.

No. A new subscriber number would be considered as a new sign up or activation.

Yes. You will be awarded Bonga Points equivalent to the value of your Shiriki subscription as per prevailing Bonga conversion rates.

Yes. When your subscription runs out you can top up your line with airtime and continue to enjoy preferential rates.

Yes. When your subscription runs out you can top up your line. However, you will not have access to the Shiriki preferential rates..

Priority in consumption will be given to the Shiriki resources, after which the prevailing prioritization in consumption attributed to your existing Tariff will prevail.

No. You will need to top up your line with normal airtime to be able to roam. Prevailing roaming charges for calling and browsing will apply and will be deducted from the airtime value.

No. Subscription resources will auto-renew at the beginning of every calendar month.

You can top up any amount while on the Shiriki Plan.

No. You can only make payment using M-PESA or by visiting your nearest Safaricom shop.

Yes. Customers can top-up their line with normal airtime and buy data bundles via *544#.
