The Internet bundle options below are available for use on theBIGbox or the Safaricom Digital TV and Internet Box:

Easy Data Bundles come with an initial 30GB or 50GB bundle, which can only be utilized on BIGbox 1.0 or the new Safaricom Digital TV and Internet Box. The bundles, once exhausted, allow for continued browsing for the remainder of the validity period but at reduced speeds of 256 kbps

• You can conveniently buy the bundles from your Airtime or M-PESA at any time or day of the month
• Enjoy worry free streaming of videos and movies at home
• You can share your internet with multiple users and devices by creating a hotspot on BIGbox 1.0 or Safaricom Digital TV and Internet Box.

To purchase the Easy Data Bundles from your phone, simply follow the instructions below:

i. Dial *400# and select “Safaricom TV”

ii. Select the “BIGbox” option

iii. Enter the “Mobile Number of your decoder” ( Input the MSISDN number located underneath your BIGbox or your Digital TV and Internet Box )

iv. Select the “Buy Home Bundle”

v. Select your preferred bundle i.e. Easy30 or Easy50

vi. Select your preferred mode of payment i.e. Airtime or M-PESA and confirm payment.

If you select M-PESA, you will be prompted to enter 4-digit Service PIN. If you do not remember your Service PIN, select 0 and you will be prompted to enter a new Service PIN.

Upon successful purchase, you will receive a flash notification of successful payment and a confirmation SMS will be sent to your BIGbox or Safaricom Digital TV and Internet Box

No. The Easy Data Bundles are for use on the BIGbox 1.0 and Safaricom Digital TV only

No. The Easy Data Bundles cannot be shared to other boxes. However, you can allow other users and devices to use your Easy Data Bundles by setting up a wireless hot-spot on your BIGbox 1.0 or Safaricom Digital TV and Internet Box which will support upto 10 users.

To check your Easy Data Bundles balance from your phone, simply follow the instructions below:

i. Dial *400# and select “Safaricom TV”

ii. Select the “BIGbox” option

iii. Enter the “Mobile Number of your decoder” ( Input the MSISDN number located underneath your BIGbox or your Digital TV and Internet Box )

iv. Select the “Check Balance”

v. You will then receive an SMS notification with your bundle balance

To check your Easy Data Bundles balance online, simply log onto https://www.safaricom.co.ke/TheBigBox/ and check the Accounts Balance section.

There is no limit to the number of bundles that you can purchase.
