• Go to Messages and create a "New Message".
• Type the word "balance".
• Send to 200.
• Await response from Safaricom confirming your balance.

This service is free. 

Check Your PostPaid Bill Online

You can now access your Safaricom Postpaid Bill information at the click of the mouse.

Simply log on to the site: https://selfcare.safaricom.co.ke

• Enter your login: your mobile number without 0 prefix.
• Enter your password; if you have forgotten it or do not have one , click on "Request password" and enter your mobile number. Your password will be sent to your phone via SMS.
• Select your service type, e.g. Telephony, and to login.
