What is Zidisha Biashara?
An SME/SOHO product that allows businesses to purchase discounted voice, SMS, and data in wholesale so they can sponsor their employees and thus save on communication costs. The package also includes a free website to enable SMEs to take their business online, as well as a module that has training videos to build capacity among SMEs.
How do I check my Zidisha bundles on my line?
Send an SMS to 144. The result will come in several SMSes depending on the number of available resources your line has. The SMS is free of charge.
What Documents do I need to apply?
For Companies you require to give a copy of your Certificate of Incorporation, and for individuals, you need a copy of your ID and PIN Certificate.
How do I renew my bundles?
Pay through M-PESA on Pay Bill 200200 specifying the SME account, or pay at any Safaricom Retail Shop countrywide.
Why do I only see my main balance when I check the Zidisha Balance?
The Zidisha bundle has not been provisioned, or renewal was not done and bundles have been deleted.
How do I know my Zidisha Account Number?
The account number will be sent on SMS during provision. You are advised not to delete the SMS containing the account number. All SMS messages reminding you to renew your account will also contain your Zidisha Account Number.
Can I provide a PORT IN Number as a beneficiary number?
Yes, successful PORT IN numbers can be provided as a beneficiary number.
How long does it take to process a Zidisha request?
Zidisha Bundles should be available within 24 hours of application.
What happens after all my bundle resources are used up?
When the bundle resources are used up, normal top-up can be done. You may also continue making calls on your current tariff.
What happens after 35 days if I don’t renew my Zidisha Bundle?
The unutilised bundle resources will be deleted and on renewal, resources will start afresh.
How do I follow up my application?

How do I renew my Zidisha Biashara bundle?
The bundle can be renewed at any time by paying the bundle subscription fee. However, it should be renewed within 35 days of activation.
Will my airtime account expire?
The airtime account validity follows normal airtime life cycles, i.e. 90 days. On expiry of the 90 days, you cannot use your Zidisha resources. A normal airtime top-up will reactivate an expired account.
Can I change my beneficiary numbers?
Yes, this can be done by filling a new form at Safaricom Retail or Safaricom Dealers. To change the beneficiary, you must give notice ten (10) days before your bundle is due for renewal.
Can I use the bundles for International/ Roaming Communications?
No, you cannot use Zidisha Biashara Bundles for International Communication. The Airtime account will be used.
How do I check my beneficiaries?
Monthly Bill statements will be sent to the sponsor email showing all the details.
